I hate HR.

Human Resources to the uninitiated.  They create stumbling blocks to hiring in order to "thin the heard" so to speak.  By creating a list of "minimum requirements" they limit the pool in which they get to choose from.  (They may also be doing it so that it applies to only one particular candidate...after all...not everyone has 10 Space Shuttle landings in the last 12 calendar months...)

So the applicant meets and in many cases exceeds all requirements but is short on one, easily remedied item.  What do you do?  "Thanks for playing...we chose someone else."  Or is that just the cut-and-paste standard rejection email?

Let me talk to a living, breathing, UNDERSTANDING human being who has the authority and the ability to make something happen.  Not some HR flunky who only knows "Plug slot B into Flap A, rotate 90 degrees and Press 1 for English".

Dumbasses...no wonder our country's unemployed are so stymied.  (Congress, The White House, President Obama and the Liberal idiots notwithstanding...)

Edgy
